Animas CrossFit’s Movement and Mobility Class teaches athletes how to maintain optimal musculoskeletal function by using a variety of techniques to mobilize joints and soft tissue. Techniques taught include foam rolling, “smashing” with a lacrosse ball or barbell, band-assisted and traditional stretching, banded flossing, partner assisted mobility work, etc. This class will also educate athletes on the basics of joint anatomy and mechanics, as well as on how to ensure proper segmental and joint specific mechanics in order to safely train globally and under high intensity. This class is appropriate for ALL ages and ability levels.
