On May 11, 2014, at approximately 1:27 pm, Farmington Police responded to an accident involving injuries at Country Club and East Main Street. A red Ford F-250 pickup truck, driven by 32 year old Mihdi Bathke of Farmington, rear ended a silver KIA Sol. The force of the impact drove the KIA Sol into another vehicle. The vehicle driven by Bathke went off the south side of the road and down an embankment. The KIA was pushed approximately 218 feet past the point of impact, sustained heavy rear-end damage and had four occupants inside.

Injuries:
The driver of the KIA, a 32 year old male, suffered a broken vertebra. The right front passenger, a 31 year old female, suffered a broken arm. The right rear passenger, an 11 year old female, suffered minor injuries. The left rear passenger, a 7 year old male, had to be extracted from the vehicle and was not conscious and suffered serious injuries. All were transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center after which the 7 year old male was flown to UNM Hospital in Albuquerque.

We will be hosting a fundraiser event on Saturday, May 31st, 2014, with all proceeds going to Ethan Murray’s Donation account.   We are a community-oriented gym, which means we fight together, inside and outside of the gym, for our members and our entire city community.  Please mark your calenders and plan to be at the gym supporting this family in 2 weeks!  No one should have to suffer the devastation that they already have; let’s do the best we can to take away some of their pain and make it ours, if only for a short while.  We can do amazing things when we all pull together!
