WOD 05/17/17

We are hosting a Crawford Family Memorial WOD and Fundraiser on Friday May 26th.  The fundraiser will consist of a WOD, a spaghetti dinner, and a silent auction and 100% of money that comes in that day will go to the family of the Crawfords to cover funeral expenses, etc.  We are currently calling out to all members, friends and family for donations of any and all items, services, gift certificates, etc, to be auctioned off.  If you have something to donate to the auction please drop it off at the gym anytime.   We ask that each of you that feel the pain of this loss to our community please share the event info with all you can.  Let’s make this event a huge rally of support for The Crawfords and all that loved them.

The WOD:  The Crawford 4 Memorial WOD:  
AMRAP 25 minutes of:
Run 400 m carrying a 45/25 lb plate
40 Double unders
4 Handstand push ups
2 Muscle ups
*As always, we will have 3 levels for beginner, intermediate, and advanced, so this WOD is open to ALL who would like to participate, not just those with CrossFit experience.  WOD times will run at regular class times in the morning and at 3:15, 4:30, 5:45, and 7:00 pm.  Individuals will have the opportunity to complete this WOD once in class, or to complete as many rounds as possible between the hours of 5 am and 9 pm, raising money by sponsorship per round completed during the day.

The Silent Auction: The auction will run from 5am through 8 pm and donations are being accepted from now until May 26th.

The Spaghetti Dinner: Set price per plate, TBD.  Will run from 5:30 pm until supplies run out.  Food/drink donations are also being accepted.  

WOD: Ten rounds, each for time of:
100 meter Sprint
Rest 90 seconds
Record the best sprint time of the 10 sprints.

Post WOD mobility: Barbell smash to Achilles, then, Rig Achilles stretch, 2-3 minutes each, Rig, hamstring stretch, 2-3 minutes each

1:00 pm Mobility Class: Hips and Knees
