Today’s WOD is another friendly competition, from a distance, with Zia CrossFit and CrossFit Durango.  So come in and lift some heavy weight today to contribute to our total score at the end of the day, and stay posted throughout the week for full results.  ZCF and CFD never fail to bring some worthy opponents.


Skill work: Dowel practice drills for back squat, shoulder press, and deadlift.

WOD: “CrossFit Total”
Find the sum of your best 3 attempts of the back squat, shoulder press, and deadlift.

    Do we get to divide the total by our total body weight? Isn't power-to-weight ratio a better measure for competition than total weight?

    Yes, for a formal competition it definitely would be, but this is more of a friendly, totally informal, competition between gyms, not between individuals. We are just going to see which gym can get the most people doing the Total, to get the most weight off the floor in a day. It's all in fun today!
